First, a huge Dziękujębardzo to Big Joe Moraniec’s great grandson, Dominic, for getting dna tested. Kudos to you, cuz! We know know that the Moraniec line is N-M2783.  This helps us to go further back in determining where the Moraniecs originated.  It would be great if we had this info. from a Lasecki male who descends from a Lasecki male, etc. Our genealogist, Iwona Dakiniewicz, said that Moraniec is not a Polish name.  And
