My mom, Priscilla, said that it was her grandfather that owned the dairy store and she remembers her mom (Helen)telling her stories about carrying milk across the street to the nuns.

Alex married Aunt Angeline and moved to a farm outside the city. He worked during the week in the city (Detroit) and lived with my graNdma Helen (Alex was her brother) and grandpa Walter.On weekends, he  returned  to the farm. He had 2 boys. Every summer my mom and her sister would spend on the farm to help them and to play with the boys.
